Last year we heard about Microsoft’s plans to release some of their classic games to the mobile platform. Now we know that their epic historical real-time strategy game Age of Empires: World Domination is coming to Windows Phone this summer.
Thankfully, the game won’t be a ported version of the PC game, but rather one that has been built from the ground up for the mobile platform. The game is said to feature an all new battle system with intuitive touch controls, which should make it ideal to play on your phone.
The attractive trailer for the game reveals that you will be reliving history’s greatest battles through the eyes of King Arthur, Cnut the Great, Joan of Arc, Attila the Hun and hundreds of great warriors. The game is also expected to include multiplayer elements so that you can team up with friends and challenge others for world domination.
Age of Empires: World Domination is expected to be a free-to-play game when it launches. We don’t have any definite dates yet, so do stay tuned in the coming days when more will be revealed.
