Bridges may be that thing you drive over on your way to work every day, but if you stop for a moment and take a good look, you will realize that each one of them are architectural wonders. Headup Games appears to have been inspired by them, enough to build a mobile game based on it. The game is called Bridge Constructor and it is now available for you to play on your Windows Phone 8.

There are 40 levels in the game and in each one you get to choose the materials you need for the job. There are four building materials to pick for your choice of bridge and you may be tempted to mix and match them to create that masterpiece, but you will have those budgetary constraints to consider every time. There is also a well-designed grid system that lets you build your bridge with more precision. You can then stress test if the bridge you constructed can survive the daily commutation of heavy vehicular traffic.

Bridge Constructor also comes with an add-on called SlopeMania where you step into an island paradise building bridges inside grottoes. The 24 levels in this add-on offer some unique challenges that include sloping lanes to overcome problems in height differences. While the game description may sound like its easy picking, it is anything but. Luckily, if you find yourself stuck at any point, a handy Help system is there to guide you with tips and hints.

If you are looking for a game that tests and challenges your mind and pushes you to come up with out-of-the-box solutions, you must check out Bridge Constructor. The game is priced $1.99, but you can try the game before you buy.
