RobTop Games have been teasing and testing platform gamers on the Android and iOS platform for some time now with their challenging game Geometry Dash. The game has just become available on the Windows Phone for the price of $1.99.
In Geometry Dash, you direct a square-shaped character across a platform avoiding spiky objects and other obstacles en route. The character automatically moves to the right, all you need to do to progress is tap on the screen to jump and press and hold to do double jumps. A green progress bar at the top of the screen lets you know how far you have progressed through a level. If you hit an obstacle, you have to start the game from the beginning. If you wish to make use of checkpoints within the game, you’ll have to play the Practice mode.
The game is a rhythm based platformer with plenty of groovy tunes to keep the action lively and spirited. You also have options to customize your character, unlock new icons and colors and add a bit of glamor to the proceedings. If you’re having a hard time navigating the levels, you can make use of the level editor to come up with your own game levels. Either way, the game looks like a lot of fun and is worth taking a dig at.
Geometry Dash not come with a trial version but you can pick it up for $1.99 from the Windows Phone Store.
